THE CROQUIS STUDIO

Welcome to The Croquis Studio ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing our website (thecroquisstudio.com) and/or purchasing any of our digital products, you agree to the terms below. Please read them before purchasing.

 

 

1. About Our Products

All products sold on The Croquis Studio are digital downloads, including but not limited to:

  • Procreate brush sets
  • Croquis / fashion figure templates
  • CAD and technical flat templates
  • Bundles combining the above

No physical items are shipped. Upon completing your purchase, you will receive instant access to your files via email and/or your account on our site.

2. License Grant — What You CAN Do

When you purchase a product from The Croquis Studio, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files for:

  • Personal design projects, coursework, and portfolio work
  • Commercial projects, including designs, illustrations, or artwork you create using our brushes/templates and then sell, publish, or use in your own professional work (e.g. a fashion collection, a freelance illustration commission, a portfolio piece)
  • Use across your own personal devices, for your own individual use

In short: what you create using our tools is yours to use and sell. The tools themselves remain ours.

3. What You CANNOT Do

To protect the work that goes into creating these products, you may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, share, or give away the brush files or templates themselves, whether for free or for payment, in original or modified form
  • Upload our files to any third-party marketplace, file-sharing site, or resource pack (e.g. reselling as your own "brush pack" or "template pack")
  • Claim authorship or ownership of the brushes/templates themselves
  • Share your purchased files with others who have not purchased them (including via cloud folders, Discord servers, or file transfer links)
  • Use the products to create content that competes directly with The Croquis Studio's own product offerings (e.g. building and selling a similar brush pack derived from ours)

Violation of these terms may result in the cancellation of your access and, where applicable, legal action.

4. Payment

  • All prices are listed in [your currency, e.g. EUR/USD] and are charged at the time of purchase.
  • We accept the payment methods listed at checkout (card, [PayPal / Shop Pay / Apple Pay — adjust to what you actually offer]).
  • All purchases are processed securely through Shopify's payment system. We do not store your card details.

5. Refund Policy

Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, all sales are final once the files have been downloaded. We're unable to offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind after download
  • Incompatibility with software you did not check before purchasing (please review product descriptions and system requirements beforehand)

Exceptions — we will happily replace your files or issue a refund if:

  • Your files are corrupted or fail to open
  • You received the wrong product due to an error on our end
  • You did not receive your download link within 24 hours of purchase

If you experience any of the above, contact us at [support email] with your order number, and we'll resolve it promptly.

6. Technical Requirements

Our Procreate brush sets require the Procreate app on a compatible iPad (available via the App Store). Croquis and CAD templates are provided as [insert actual file types, e.g. PNG/PSD/Procreate file] and may be used in Procreate or other compatible software.

We recommend checking the product description for specific compatibility details before purchasing. We are not responsible for compatibility issues arising from outdated software or unsupported devices.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to brush designs, template designs, illustrations, photography, logos, and written content — is the property of The Croquis Studio and is protected by copyright law. Nothing on this site may be copied, reproduced, or used commercially outside the license terms described in Section 2, without our prior written permission.

8. Account Responsibility

If you create an account with us, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Croquis Studio provides its products "as is." While we do our best to ensure all files work as described, we are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use (or inability to use) our products
  • Loss of data, profits, or business arising from the use of our products
  • Issues caused by third-party software (e.g. Procreate app updates that affect file compatibility)

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our products, policies, or legal requirements. Continued use of our website and products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
